SVP DE created this program to provide a dedicated pediatric psychology resident intern from Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children at each of our investee sites.

Goals:
•institute best practices in behavioral health in all SVP DE centers
•consult with teaching staff on classroom management
•work with staff to identify and correct problem behavior
•coach teachers on how to work with parents to schedule referrals·conduct teacher and parent awareness programs

SVP DE Involvement:
•Total Investment of $151,500
•Chris Schafer volunteered as lead partner for three years and organized numerous parent seminars
•Alison Tumas currently serves as lead partner
•Martha Bolling, Ginny Butters and Helen Corroon volunteered at a parent-awareness program at East Side Charter

The psychology residents have also helped the centers by producing and distributing a manual of advice regarding common health and behavioral issues and their suggested solutions.The manual also contains helpful handouts for parents.
